Kolkata, June 13 -- A large contingent of state and Kolkata Police personnel searched the Kalighat residence of Trinamool Congress leader Abhishek Banerjee in the early hours of Saturday, looking for his personal aide Sumit Roy, who is an accused in a financial embezzlement case.
However, Roy could not be found despite an extensive search.
Former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who rushed to Abhishek's house after receiving information about the operation, alleged that the police broke open the locks and searche the entire house.
