Kolhapur, March 29 -- In a shocking incident, Shahupuri police in the city have registered a case under the Atrocities Act against 15 lawyers, including Adv. Vivek Ghatge, president of the Mumbai-Goa Bar Association, and Adv. V.R. Patil, president of the Kolhapur District Bar Association, for allegedly assaulting and abusing a woman on the Kolhapur district court premises.
According to police, the incident occurred on March 7 at around 3:30 pm in the Xerox Centre area on the ground floor of the court building. The complaint was filed by Ashwini alias Pallavi Nikhil Patil.
