Srinagar, Sept. 26 -- J&K Police on Saturday said that it has attached and frozen four immovable properties worth around Rs 7.11 crore in Srinagar under the NDPS Act and UA(P) Act as part of its ongoing crackdown on drug trafficking, terror-related activities and their financial networks.
Police said the properties were identified during investigations as being linked to illicit activities or acquired from their proceeds.
Police Station Zakura attached a residential house along with land at Bilal Colony, Zakura, valued at around Rs 2.5 crore and belonging to Owais Ahmad Rather. The action was taken in connection with FIR No. 34/2026 registered under Sections 8/22 and 29 of the NDPS Act.
