Shimla/Chamba, Nov. 27 -- BJP MLA Hans Raj, representing the Churah constituency in Chamba district, received major relief on Thursday after the Special Judge, Chamba, confirmed his regular bail in a case registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
The court had earlier granted him interim anticipatory bail until November 27, with the matter listed for detailed hearing on Thursday. Following arguments from both sides, the court confirmed his bail, effectively protecting him from arrest as the investigation continues.
