Bengaluru, Jan. 14 -- In a rare example of fast-tracked urban infrastructure delivery, a piped natural gas (PNG) network connecting 250 homes at SBI Colony in JP Nagar 1st Phase was completed in just 100 days and inaugurated on Wednesday by Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya.

The City Gas Distribution project, implemented by GAIL India, has brought clean and safe piped natural gas directly to households, ending residents' dependence on LPG cylinders. The rapid execution of the project has drawn attention as a model for time-bound delivery of civic infrastructure in the city.
