Dharamshala, Sept. 11 -- Punjab National Bank Rural Self Employment Training Institute (PNB RSETI) has trained 10,620 rural youth and women in Kangra district so far, helping 7,408 of them move into employment or self-employment.
PNB RSETI Director Madan Lal said 394 training batches had been conducted since the institute's inception.
Of those settled, 6,428 had taken up self-employment, while 3,175 beneficiaries received credit linkage.
During 2025-26, the institute conducted 30 training batches for 838 candidates and has set a target of training 1,000 candidates through 34 batches.
