New Delhi, Aug. 24 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday urged the 2025 batch of Indian Foreign Service officer trainees to move beyond conventional diplomacy and build stronger connections with local communities in their countries of posting, while contributing to India's growing economic and global engagement.

The 50 officer trainees, drawn from different states and union Territories, called on the Prime Minister at Seva Teerth, according to an official release from the Prime Minister's Office.
