New Delhi, July 20 -- Congress general secretary in-charge communications Jairam Ramesh on Monday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of deliberately overlooking the issues that the opposition considers most pressing, saying the Prime Minister's address at the start of the Monsoon Session was filled with "worn-out and hollow" rhetoric while avoiding controversies that have dominated the national discourse.
In a post on social media platform X, Jairam Ramesh said the Prime Minister's customary remarks before the commencement of the Monsoon Session failed to address a series of issues that the Congress and other opposition parties are committed to raising forcefully in Parliament.
