Chennai, Feb. 28 -- In a major boost to infrastructure development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch various Railway and Road projects in the neighbouring union Territory of Puducherry and at Madurai in Tamil Nadu tomorrow to the tune of Rs 7,100 crores, besides visiting the controversial Tiruparankundram hillock temple, where a row erupted over light of Karthigai Deepam.
After his visit to Rajasthan and Gujarat, the Prime Minister will reach Chennai on Saturday night at around 9 PM.
After an overnight stay at Raj Bhavan, he would leave for Puducherry tomorrow, where he would inaugurate, dedicate to the Nation and lay the foundation stone of various development projects worth over Rs. 2,700 crore and also address the gathering. Th...
