Patna, Oct. 24 -- The Bihar electoral battle intensified today, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the NDA's campaign by raising the issue of "Jungle Raj", which, he alleged, had ravaged the state during RJD's long rule.

At the other end, the opposition Grand Alliance's CM face Tejashwi Prasad Yadav also hit the political turf, alleging that unemployment had increased alarmingly since NDA was voted to power in the state.

Addressing public meetings in Samastipur and Begusarai, Modi cautioned the people not to allow the return of the "dark phase" that had ravaged Bihar during RJD's 15-year rule since 1990.
