Lucknow, May 2 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed concern over reports of Uttar Pradesh Congress President Ajay Rai's ill health and wished him a speedy recovery.
In a post on the social media platform X on Saturday, the Prime Minister said that he has learned of Ajay Rai's deteriorating health and prays for his speedy recovery.
According to preliminary information, sodium deficiency may be the cause of his deterioration, although other tests are ongoing. It is a matter of relief that he is reported to be out of danger.
It is reported that after addressing an event in Lucknow, he returned to his residence where he felt dizzy and fainted. He was immediately taken to Medanta Hospital after complaining of blood pressure.
