Bhubaneswar, June 20 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday arrived in Pahadpur village in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district for a day-long visit where he joined President Droupadi Murmu in a series of official and cultural programmes highlighting tribal heritage and development initiatives in the region.
The Prime Minister landed at Pahadpur village in a special Indian Air Force helicopter and was received by Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, and senior state officials amid tight security arrangements.
Following the reception, Modi travelled in a special motorcade to Pahadpur village, the native village of President Murmu's in-laws, amid elaborate security arrangements.
