Hyderabad, July 17 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday virtually inaugurated the redeveloped Hi-Tech City Railway Station in Hyderabad as part of the launch of 75 Amrit Bharat railway stations across 20 states under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.

The Prime Minister inaugurated the stations through video conference from Jalandhar Railway Station while launching development projects worth Rs 25,000 crore during his visit to Haryana, Chandigarh and Punjab.

A parallel function was held at Hi-Tech City Railway Station, attended by MLC A V N Reddy, South Central Railway General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, Secunderabad Divisional Railway Manager R Gopalakrishnan and other senior railway officials.
