New Delhi, July 3 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a six-day visit to three Indo-Pacific nations-Indonesia, Australia, and New Zealand-from July 6 to July 11.
The PM's visit to New Zealand would be the first visit by an Indian PM in 40 years, the last being Rajiv Gandhi's trip in 1986.
Formally announcing the visit, the New Zealand PM Christopher Luxon described the trip as "historic".
"I'm delighted to announce Indian Prime Minister @narendramodi will make his first official visit to New Zealand next week.
