New Delhi, Oct. 24 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay homage today to Bharat Ratna Karpoori Thakur, the socialist stalwart and former Chief Minister of Bihar, during his visit to Samastipur today.
In a social media post on X, PM Modi expressed his deep reverence for Thakur, saying, "My respectful salutations to Bharat Ratna Karpoori Thakur Ji! Today, I will have the good fortune of paying tribute to him in Samastipur."The Prime Minister's visit marks the official start of his election campaign in Bihar. He will first pay homage to Thakur in Karpuri Gram, Samastipur, at 12:15 pm, followed by a public rally in Begusarai at 2 pm, where he will seek the blessings of the local people.
