New Delhi, July 3 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will undertake a day-long visit to Rajasthan and Gujarat on Saturday, launching and inaugurating a series of major infrastructure and industrial projects aimed at strengthening India's aviation, energy, urban transport, renewable energy and semiconductor sectors.

The Prime Minister's Office said Modi will begin his visit in Jodhpur, where he will inaugurate the new terminal building at Jodhpur Airport and launch the Modified UDAN scheme. He will later travel to Balotra to dedicate, inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for projects worth around Rs 1.06 lakh crore before addressing a public gathering.
