New Delhi, Nov. 6 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate four new Vande Bharat Express trains from Varanasi on Saturday, marking a major milestone in India's efforts to modernize its rail network, a government release today said.
Scheduled to commence at 8:15 am, this initiative reflects the government's commitment to enhancing regional connectivity and fostering economic growth through world-class transport services.
The new trains will ply the Banaras-Khajuraho, Lucknow-Saharanpur, Firozpur-Delhi, and Ernakulam-Bengaluru routes, significantly cutting travel times and improving convenience for millions of passengers.
