Meerut, Feb. 16 -- The country's first rapid rail project (Namo Bharat), which gives wings to dreams of high speed, is now in its final stages.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate its third and final phase on February 22.
The foundation stone for this ambitious project was laid by the Prime Minister in Ghaziabad on March 8, 2019. Subsequently, on October 20, 2023, the Prime Minister also inaugurated the 17-kilometer-long first phase of the Delhi-Meerut Rapid Rail Corridor, from Sahibabad to Duhai Depot. Now, that journey is moving towards its completion.
On February 22, the Prime Minister will dedicate the remaining section of the 'Namo Bharat' Rapid Rail to the public. He will also flag off the Meerut Metro, which will operate ...
