New Delhi, Aug. 7 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the 57th Convocation Ceremony of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi on Saturday, where he will address more than 3,000 graduating students, including 587 Ph.D. scholars, and confer the institute's highest academic honours on meritorious students.
According to an official statement, the Prime Minister will participate in the ceremony at 11 a.m. as the chief guest and present the President's Gold Medal, the Director's Gold Medal, the Shankar Dayal Sharma Gold Medal and the Perfect Ten Gold Medals to students in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements.
