New Delhi, Nov. 27 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a significant visit to Karnataka and Goa on Friday, November 28, to partake in major religious and cultural celebrations that underscore India's rich spiritual heritage, a government release said on Thursday.

The day's proceedings will begin at around 11:30 am in Udupi, Karnataka, where PM Modi will visit the historic Sri Krishna Matha. There, he will participate in the Laksha Kantha Gita Parayana programme, a devotional event featuring 100,000 participants-including students, monks, scholars, and citizens-reciting the Srimad Bhagavad Gita in unison.
