New Delhi, Jan. 3 -- : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday underlined India's civilisational responsibility towards Buddhism, saying the sacred relics of Bhagwan Buddha are not just archaeological artifacts but an inseparable part of India's heritage, as he inaugurated the Grand International Exposition of Sacred Piprahwa Relics.
Addressing the gathering, PM Modi said India's relationship with Buddhism goes beyond custodianship. The Prime Minister described India as both the guardian and the living embodiment of the Buddha's legacy.
