Kakinada, June 16 -- Claiming that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 12-year tenure has received overwhelming public approval, BJP leaders in Kakinada on Tuesday said nearly 90 per cent of the people in the country were satisfied with the performance of the union Government.
Addressing a press conference, Nallamilli Ramakrishna Reddy, BJP MLA from Anaparthy and State Convenor of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) Committee, said the Modi government had strengthened the country's defence capabilities and internal security.
He claimed that terrorist activities had declined significantly and cited operations such as Operation Sindoor and surgical strikes as examples of the government's firm response to security threats.
