New Delhi/Hyderabad, Aug. 11 -- Former chairman of the Telangana State Backward Classes Commission and author Dr Vakulabharanam Krishna Mohan Rao, accompanied by his wife Sudha Sree, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his office in Parliament House on Tuesday.

During the 10-minute meeting, Dr Rao presented three of his books to the Prime Minister - Narendra Modi - A Transformative Global Statesman, Antyodayam Nundi Viksit Bharat and GST: Social Justice, Economic Equality and the Journey of Development.

After going through the books, Modi reportedly told Dr Rao that writing them was a "yagna" and enquired about his background, his association with the BC movement since his student days and his work with Backward Classes commissions.
