He said in his social media post on X that she was a pioneering figure who dedicated her life to social transformation through education and service.
In his post, the Prime Minister said Savitribai Phule was deeply committed to the principles of equality, justice and compassion.
He described her as a firm believer in education as the most powerful instrument of social change, noting that her efforts were focused on transforming lives through knowledge and learning.
