New Delhi, Sept. 10 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday called for collective global action to keep outer space safe, secure, peaceful and sustainable, while inviting France and other countries to join India as "co-travellers" in its next phase of space exploration.
Addressing the first International Space Summit in Paris through video conference, Modi said the growing number of space-faring actors, increasingly crowded orbits, and rapid advances in technology had made international cooperation and responsible conduct more important than ever.
