New Delhi, Feb. 22 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated and dedicated to the nation multiple development projects worth approximately Rs 12,930 crore in Meerut, marking a major boost to urban connectivity and infrastructure in western Uttar Pradesh.
The Prime Minister flagged off both the Meerut Metro and the Namo Bharat train from the Shatabdi Nagar Namo Bharat Station before travelling by metro to Meerut South Station. There, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for various development initiatives and addressed a large public gathering.
