Jodhpur, July 4 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated a new terminal building at Jodhpur Airport and launched the revamped UDAN regional connectivity scheme during a visit to Rajasthan, where he is also set to unveil infrastructure projects worth about 1.06 lakh crore.

Modi arrived at the Jodhpur Air Force Station at around 10:30 am by a special plane and was received by Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagade, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat as well as other officials.

From the airport, Modi proceeded to the newly constructed terminal building at Jodhpur Airport and inaugurated the facility.
