New Delhi, Dec. 30 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi Tuesday expressed his condolences over a tragic bus accident in Mumbai's Bhandup, where a BEST bus rammed into pedestrians, killing 4 people, including 3 women, and injuring 9 others.
"Saddened by the loss of lives due to a mishap in Bhandup, Mumbai. Condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. May those injured recover at the earliest," Modi said in a post on X.
Four people were killed and several others injured when a BEST bus rammed into pedestrians near Bhandup railway station in Mumbai on Monday night. The victims included three women and one man. The incident occurred around 10:05 pm on Station Road, and emergency teams responded immediately.
