New Delhi, Aug. 29 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday embarked on a four-day visit to Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic, with the agenda focused on strengthening India's strategic partnerships in Central Asia, expanding cooperation in key sectors and advancing regional peace, stability and prosperity.
The Prime Minister's visit, from August 29 to September 1, will begin with a State Visit to Tashkent on Saturday and Sunday at the invitation of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. He will subsequently travel to Bishkek at the invitation of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov.
