New Delhi, July 22 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday urged ministries to place citizens at the Centre of every reform and adopt a whole-of-government approach to accelerate India's journey towards becoming a developed nation, while chairing a high-level review meeting on rural development, agriculture, social welfare and allied sectors under the Viksit Bharat mission.
The meeting, held at the Prime Minister's official residence at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, was attended by the Cabinet Secretary, Secretaries of key ministries and senior officials from the Prime Minister's Office.
According to an official statement, the Prime Minister said reforms must be shaped by people's needs and deliver tangible improvements in their lives.
