New Delhi, June 18 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday held talks with Benoit Bazin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Saint-Gobain, in Paris, focusing on opportunities in the materials and construction sector, particularly in the areas of sustainability, innovation and the French multinational's growing investments in India.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the discussions highlighted the increasing importance of sustainable construction technologies in supporting India's infrastructure and development goals. The two sides also explored avenues for expanding cooperation in the construction materials sector while emphasizing job creation and skill development opportunities for Indian youth.
