Tianjin/New Delhi, Aug. 31 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping began their bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the SCO Summit here this morning.
The bilateral meeting with the Chinese President is the first engagement in Tianjin of PM Modi, who arrived here yesterday from Japan.
The meeting between the two leaders comes after their last meeting in Kazan, Russia, in October last year on the sidelines of the BRICS summit, when the two sides decided on disengagement of their troops at the border, and took further steps to mend relations.
