Kolkata, June 2 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to arrive in Kolkata on a two-day visit beginning June 20, with speculation growing that he may attend a programme marking West Bengal Day before participating in the main International Yoga Day event in the city the following day.
The Prime Minister's visit was initially expected to be centred on June 21, when Kolkata will host the national-level celebrations of International Yoga Day.
The Ministry of AYUSH, responsible for organising the Yoga Day, has already announced that the main Yoga Day event this year will be held in Kolkata in the presence of Modi.
