Chennai, April 15 -- The Madras High Court on Wednesday directed the Director General of Income Tax (Investigation) and the union Ministry of Corporate Affairs to file its reply on a writ plea seeking a probe into the alleged material discrepancies in the assets disclosed in the election affidavits by Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin in 2021 and 2026.
