New Delhi, Aug. 20 -- Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Thursday held a series of high-level bilateral and business meetings in Singapore, seeking to deepen cooperation between the two countries in trade, investment, technology and business.

Goyal began his engagements with a meeting with Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong at the Istana.

He later participated in the fourth India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable (ISMR) and the fourth India-Singapore Business Roundtable (ISBR) at Hotel Shangri-La.

The roundtables focused on strengthening bilateral economic ties and identifying new areas of cooperation. The meetings were followed by an MoU signing ceremony.
