New Delhi, March 27 -- Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has emphasised that necessary reform of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) should be carried out through a transparent, inclusive and member-driven process by keeping development at its core.
Addressing the opening ceremony of the WTO's 14th Ministerial Conference (MC14) on Thursday, he highlighted the need to uphold the foundational principles and objectives of the organisation mainly non-discrimination, consensus-based decision making and equity.
On the sidelines of the ministerial conference, the Commerce Minister also discussed bilateral and multilateral issues to further strengthen India-Cameroon cooperation with Prime Minister of Cameroon Dion Ngute Joseph.
