Kannur, Feb. 24 -- Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will dedicate three mega projects in Kannur district on Wednesday including the "International Research Institute of Ayurveda (IRIA)" at Kalliyad near Iritty, KTDC's premium drive-in resort "Malabar Courtyard", at Muzhappilangad Beach and the modernised Azhikkal fishing port.
The IRIA, built on 300 acres at Kalliyad, will be dedicated at 1000 AM. Its first phase, completed at a cost of Rs 200 crore, includes a 100- bed research hospital, herbal research centre, nursery, and palm leaf manuscript study centre". The institute aims to promote evidence-based Ayurveda globally while preserving traditional knowledge.
