Thiruvananthapuram, May 27 -- Former Kerala Chief Minister and current Leader of Opposition in State Assembly Pinarayi Vijayan strongly criticised the Enforcement Directorate (ED) search at his residence near Bakery Junction in connection with the CMRL-Exalogic financial transaction case, alleging that it was part of a deliberate political move by the Central government to target opposition leaders and workers.

Talking to newspersons soon after emerging from his residence following hours-long ED inspection, Vijayan said the action was a "continued witch-hunt" by the BJP-led government aimed at weakening the Opposition.
