Hyderabad/New Delhi, March 10 -- : Pieter Elbers has stepped down as Chief Executive Officer of InterGlobe Aviation Limited , which operates India's largest airline 'IndiGo', with immediate effect, the company announced on Tuesday.
The airline's Board of Directors thanked Elbers for his service and contributions to the organisation and wished him well in his future endeavours.
Rahul Bhatia, Managing Director of IndiGo, will assume interim management of the airline's affairs until a new chief executive is appointed.
