Hyderabad, Jan. 22 -- In a key development in the Telangana phone tapping case, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Thursday issued a notice to former minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR).

The SIT has directed KTR to appear for questioning at its Jubilee Hills office on Friday at 11 am.

Earlier, the SIT questioned former minister T Harish Rao for about seven and a half hours in connection with the case. Officials have reportedly instructed that witnesses linked to the investigation should not be contacted or influenced under any circumstances.
