Prayagraj, April 24 -- A petition has been filed in the Allahabad High Court seeking a stay on the demolition order for a mosque, just outside the Prayagraj Junction railway station, on Friday.
The North Central Railways has served a notice to the mosque authorities for its removal.
The petition demands cancellation of the notice issued by the Railways on April 10.
It has been argued that the mosque is registered with the Waqf Board and its Waqf Registration number is 161.
