Imphal, June 18 -- A senior civil society leader on Thursday said Manipur could witness a mass uprising on the scale of the historic June 18, 2001 movement if the Government of India fails to resolve pressing demands over separate administration, flag issues, and related constitutional arrangements within a reasonable timeframe.

Observance Committee Co-Convenor Santa Nahakpam said this while addressing the 25th observance of the Great June Uprising Day and Unity day at Kekrupat here.
