Washington, July 22 -- The Trump administration on Wednesday announced a sweeping artificial intelligence initiative aimed at accelerating scientific discovery for military applications, with the Department of War committing more than $1.5 billion over the next two fiscal years to strengthen U.S. technological and defence capabilities.
The investment forms part of the White House-led "Genesis Mission," a national programme designed to harness AI for scientific research by integrating vast government datasets, high-performance computing and advanced AI tools.
