Dubai, Feb. 12 -- Afghanistan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi has been fined 15 per cent of his match fee for breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct during his side's ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 Group D clash against South Africa.
According to the International Cricket Council (ICC) website, Nabi was found guilty of violating Article 2.4 of the Code, which relates to "disobeying an umpire's instruction during an international match."The incident took place at the start of the 14th over of Afghanistan's innings, when Nabi engaged in a discussion with the on-field umpires regarding a wristband worn by South Africa fast bowler Lungi Ngidi.
