Bhubaneswar, April 25 -- On the occasion of World Malaria Day, renowned sand artist and Padma Shri awardee Sudarsan Pattnaik created a striking sand sculpture at Puri Beach to spread awareness about malaria prevention and eradication.

The artwork carried the message, "Driven to End Malaria: Now We Can. Now We Must," echoing the global call to intensify efforts against the disease.

Observed annually on April 25, World Malaria Day aims to raise awareness about malaria and promote coordinated global action for its prevention, control, and elimination.
