Patna, April 19 -- Patna Municipal Corporation has received around Rs 30 crore as revenue from stamp duty in the first quarter of the financial year 2026-27.

Official sources said here on Sunday that the amount has been collected based on property registrations carried out in the last quarter of FY 2025-26 within the corporation area.

The revenue was generated through various registration offices at Patna functional under the Registration Department and will be formally transferred to the civic body in the current quarter.

According to official data, the municipal corporation earned approximately Rs 68.70 crore from stamp duty in FY 2025-26, compared to Rs 63.06 crore in FY 2024-25 an increase of about Rs 5.64 crore, or nearly 9 percent....
