Lucknow, March 10 -- Security personnel detained a passenger at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow on Tuesday after a live cartridge was found in his bag during security screening.
The passenger, Deepankar Jaiswal, a resident of Pilibhit, was scheduled to travel to Bhubaneswar on IndiGo flight 6E-6521, which departs from Lucknow at 9:20 am via Raipur.
During routine security checks before boarding, CISF personnel discovered a .315 bore cartridge in his luggage. When questioned, Jaiswal was unable to produce a valid arms license at the spot.
