Aichi-Nagoya, Sept. 29 -- India secured two more boxing medals on Tuesday as Parveen Hooda and Ankush Panghal stormed into their respective finals at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, while Narender Berwal settled for bronze in the men's 90kg category.
Parveen produced a commanding performance in the women's 65kg semi-final, beating China's Shu Li 5-0 by unanimous decision to book her place in the gold-medal bout.
The Indian boxer controlled the contest from the opening round and never allowed her Chinese opponent to build any sustained momentum, securing a comprehensive verdict from the judges.
Parveen, who is now assured of at least a silver medal, will face Olympic bronze medallist Chen Nien-chin of Chinese Taipei in Friday's final.
