Amravati, Sept. 13 -- A simple wedding ceremony of a Pardhi couple solemnised on a pavement at the bustling Jaistambh Chowk in Amravati district of Maharashtra here has gone viral on social media, drawing attention to the socio-economic hardships faced by sections of the denotified community.

Videos of the ceremony, reportedly shot on September 11 and 12, show the couple performing traditional wedding rituals on the pavement amid a gathering of onlookers at the busy commercial intersection.
