Parbhani (Maharashtra), Sept. 27 -- The Jantoor police and local crime investigation team of Parbhani district have arrested the primary accused in a significant theft case involving foreign liquor worth Rs 88 lakhs, recovering substantial stolen property.
According to police reports, on August 31, Prabhakar Vishwanath Ghughey and his son Anil Prabhakar Ghughey were transporting foreign liquor valued at Rs 1 crore 38 lakh to Alka Wine Shop in Naded from Nashik's Sadram and other companies in their truck bearing registration number MH15GV1735.
During the journey, the accused individuals along with their accomplices allegedly looted goods worth 88 lakh rupees and deliberately overturned their vehicle at Chincholi Darade within Jantoor polic...
